We can help you furnish properties – fast - from the essentials for a studio apartment to a stylish, high quality and unique multiple-bedroom home. Our furnishing solutions range from a very small budget to the top end in furnishing, creating the look and feel you wish to achieve.
All furniture will be delivered and assembled in the rooms of your choice. When our furniture is not needed anymore, we collect them at your convenience.
You can hire our furniture from a few essentials to a complete inventory including electric appliances and bed linen. All our solutions are flexible, for the interim, short or long-term requirements.
Area Orientation
Your relocating employee will be moving from within the UK or from overseas to a new location in the UK on a permanent basis.
Look- See, Pre-Move Trip
You might plan on a visit prior to the actual move. The reason for this short trip could be a decision trip to accept the posting; to meet the team in the new office; to find schooling, to secure accommodation and in general to get a good overview of what to expect in the new location.
Our Look-See programme can be the basis of a successful move as the relocating employee and the family understand the changes prior to the actual move and the expectations can be managed – the basis for a hassle-free relocation. The fear of the unknown is balanced with a good overview of what the new assignment will consist of.
Settling In, Post-Move
Your relocating employee and family have arrived and are settled in their new home. The employee’s day is structured through the new job responsibilities. Perhaps the children are off to school and the spouse is arranging the day-to-day living.
The employee and family will have to start afresh to settle in and get their daily lives organized and filled. This can be a lonely experience when one does not really know where to start. When in a new location the infrastructure will be very different to the previous home location and often it can be frustrating.
Our Settling In programme is designed to help your employee and family to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to enjoy the new location to its fullest as if they have lived there already for a long time.
Both programmes are tailored to the individual needs of the employee and all family members.
Rental Accommodation
Finding a new home for your relocating employee can be a time consuming exercise. There is no multiple listing of homes in the UK and each letting agent has their own properties to let. Sometimes HR departments assist in searching for homes, however websites can be deceiving and the desired result is difficult to achieve.
The employee, who is focusing at the new job in the new location, has limited time available to source the right property in the right location - matching the budget and personal requirements. Unless a suitable home is found within the shortest time frame, your company risks to pay more for serviced accomodation or hotels than necessary.
A legally binding Tenancy Agreement can be tricky and if the employee has limited practice in negotiating favourable terms the result might be consequential. We have the experience of 27 years of Tenancy Negotiations; our own Tenancy Agreements has been used more than 45.000 times and are happy to extend our knowledge to you.

Surveys and Legal
Surveys
HCR works with a number of surveyors who provide us with nationwide coverage for the valuation process - an essential part for your relocating employee. All have been through our selection process to ensure that they are providing value for money and excellent customer service.
All valuers are suitable qualified, i.e. members of RICS or IRRV. All reporting is in accordance with the RICS Appraisal and Valuation Manual (known as The Red Book).

Conveyance and Legal
HCR works with various solicitors covering England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. All have been through the rigorous selection process ensuring that they meet our high expectations. We have negotiated excellent preferential fees with all our solicitors to ensure that all parties receive value for money and exceptional service.
Our Solicitor may be instructed to deal with both the sale of the existing property and the purchase of the new one. Sometimes it is necessary to engage with two solicitors for cross- border moves (i.e. Wales to Scotland). All of our solicitors have undergone our 'in-house' training programme, having met with our legal team, are familiar with the relocation considerations and have a sound understanding of the process.
All solicitors used must have at least two partners and be registered with the Law Society.
Due to our volume and extensive work with surveyors and solicitors, we provide preferential rates and extend these savings to you. Our competence ensures that all criteria are met and you and your relocating employees are benefiting from our expertise.
